Tally on Cloud means your Tally ERP or TallyPrime software runs on a remote cloud server instead of a computer in your office. Airmax Tally Cloud installs your Tally on a managed server, and you open it over a Remote Desktop (RDP) connection secured with a one-time password. Your keyboard and mouse input travels to the server and the screen comes back, so the software and the company data both stay on the server — nothing is stored on the device you are working from.

Yes. Tally itself is a Windows application, but because it runs on our cloud server you reach it from a Mac using a Remote Desktop client — no Boot Camp, no Parallels and no virtual machine on your own Mac. The same approach works from Windows, Linux, Android and iOS.

Yes. Multi-user access is included, and users in different offices, branches or homes sign in to the same live company data at the same time. Because everyone is working on one copy on the server, there is no export, import or end-of-day merge between locations.

Yes to both. Automated backups run daily on the server, and a control panel lets you schedule your own copy to Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or Amazon S3. You can also download a backup to your own PC whenever you want, so you are never dependent on a single copy.

Yes. Airmax Tally Cloud is hosting for Tally, not a Tally licence — the service runs your own copy of Tally ERP or TallyPrime on our servers. If you are unsure how your current licence applies to a hosted setup, talk to our team before you migrate.

Yes. The cloud servers run a standard Tally installation, so TDL files and customised modules load exactly as they do on a local machine. Airmax is a Tally Certified Solution Partner and can help set up custom TDL on your cloud server.

An ordinary stable broadband or 4G connection is enough. A Remote Desktop session only carries screen updates and keystrokes, not the company data file itself, so bandwidth use stays low. Connection stability matters more than raw speed — a steady 2 Mbps link performs better than a faster one that keeps dropping.

Three are worth knowing before you move. You need a working internet connection to reach the server, so an office with no connectivity cannot work offline. The Tally licence is not included — you bring your own. And peripherals such as printers or barcode scanners need to be mapped into the remote session once during setup rather than simply being plugged in. For most businesses these are one-time setup items; if any of them is a blocker for you, say so before you sign up.
